Can’t wait for the real stuff

Can you imagine having the same drink month after month with no variation. Yes I know that's what breastfed babies have but this Nan formula stuff is getting a tad boring. For some odd reason Dad has kept every tin of the stuff since I was born. Says he will use them to store stuff in his last retreat, the garage. Every five days I demolish one of the smaller tins which fit nicely on the garage shelves.Last Thursday I had my final session with the clinic nurse and another three painful injections. I am sure I could show these junkies a thing or two with needle pricks.I am now weighing in at around five kilos with fourteen weeks of life behind me. Stay tuned!Nan

Lights Action Camera

At last I make the small screen. After all, this is Dads business and I don’t know why he has taken so long to post some moving pictures of me. Brenda Talbot gave me this lovely activity centre and although it says for three months and up I had it sussed weeks before their silly date. I mean how difficult is it to whack a brightly coloured object right in front of you. More challenges' please I need to get as many of those neurons

connected together while there is still time.

Life’s a beach (3 months)

The sun was shining, the day was warm so Dad decided to introduce me to Durban’s famous North Beach today. He has been swimming and body boarding here for the past 38 years and was keen to give me an early start. Well I can’t say I was that impressed. It looked more like a desert to me. I mean, where was the green stuff that I am used to at home. He then dipped my toes into the Indian Ocean and I let him know in no uncertain terms, that was certainly not my bath water temperature that I am accustomed to. We then sat in the Wimpy and as usual I got a boring bottle of formula while they guzzled chocolate milkshakes and cappuccinos. One day……Beach

The Godmother

Marcelle Robbins is my Dads sister and she came all the way from Cape Town to visit me. She is also one of my godmothers so naturally wants to check on my wellbeing and stuff. I dutifully posed for the camera to show that I was indeed hale and hearty and putting on weight at a steady rate. Last night was another milestone for me when I slept through the night and only roused the household at 06.00. Everyone was pleased but I had had a good feed the  night before and was happy to sleep in for once. They mustn't think this is the norm and I’m sure I will return to my normal nocturnal sleep pattern and if I feel like a drink at 2am then room service will have to respond.Marcelle Cesira
